This friendly, family-run ski/alpine lodge is situated in the Gudauri ski resort 1.5-2 hours drive north from Tbilisi along a very scenic road. The hotel, one of the few, is situated on the mountain Kudebi within walking distance from ski lifts in the very center of the resort. The Hut, as we also like to call it, has some of the most breathtaking views in Gudauri from every room. Gudauri Hut was built in 2005-2006 to cater for the fast growing number of skiers and snowboarders in Gudauri during winter and the flourishing alpine scene in summer.
The hotel which opened its first season in 2005, was substantially expanded in the summer of 2006. The expansion involved the addition of 14 new rooms, a traditional Georgian restaurant, lounge/fire place room and a real Russian banya.
Gudauri Hut attracts visitors who want to stay in a small, cozy hotel and experience the unforgettable Georgian hospitality and cuisine. Our guests are ordinary skiers and snowboarders as well as the thrill seekers wishing to experience unforgettable powder, for which Gudauri is so famous. Gia Apakidze, the hotel Director, runs freeride programs and off-piste with guides for the hotel"s guests.
Gudauri Hut has 27 guest rooms. Rooms can accommodate 2 or 4 people and an extra bed is available for addtiional guests if requested.
Prices are shown in USD per night including breakfast and dinner. Smorgasbord breakfast and a three course dinner are served in the restaurant.
